From Our Community to Yours
When we receive cash donations, we are able to multiply the goodness thanks to our grocery partners and food recovery program. This means we are able to make donor dollars stretch further! Imagine it costs $5 for a box of cereal, and a donor brings it to us as a donation. If that donor instead gave us the $5, we would be able to purchase 3-4 boxes of cereal with the same $5 thanks to our community partnerships.
This year, we have grown our community partnerships and expanded our school meals program as a result. This means that we were able to serve 7 additional schools in our district through our Smiling Snacks program, which has been only made possible with support from community partners and monetary donations from donors like you.
